We are sad to announce the cancellation of the Las Trampas upcoming Spring Benefit Dinner scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2020. The Health Services directive regarding sheltering at home and not having groups larger than 50 people made it clear that this is the only path forward. 

This decision has been made with the health and well-being of everyone very much on our minds. Obviously, top of mind of course is the health and well-being of our participants – after all, our mission is to support our participants to discover their capabilities and to lead full lives in their home, at work, and in the community. Although the directive to shelter at home is now in place, our Staff members continue to deliver critical direct support to our participants in their homes.  Participants still require direct support services such as the delivery of groceries and medications and the reassurance that they are not alone – we are there for them!

The Spring Benefit is an important event for Las Trampas: a time to celebrate our achievements and to raise funds to support our work. While we cannot gather this year, we hope you will consider supporting our efforts with a gift today. The benefit last year raised $250,000 and we hoped to raise the same this year to support our programs.
